Personal Statement

I am an early career researcher with a keen interest in the synthesis of novel functionalized materials and their wide applications as chemosensing and detoxifying agents. I employ nanomaterials functionalized products for more versatility and sustainable applications.

I engage in lecturing my students at the undergraduate levels, facilitating classes both onsite and online. I function as an E-tutor on the Learning Management System, especially to the distant learners by disseminating resources and engaging them in activities, to facilitate their studies, in my courses. I am committed to incorporating entrepreneurial thinking while teaching the students to instigate their entrepreneurial thinking and skills, producing better graduates. I also engage in project supervision and course advising of students.

My research aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals 3 and 6; Good health and wellbeing; Clean water and sanitation; while I engage in SDG 4, Quality education and solicit for SDG 5; Gender equality. I collaborate with partners from the industries and international scholars in fulfilling these SDGs.
